Lennox is the farm of former Rugby Springbok Dirk Froneman and his wife Salomé ˇnd nestles at the foot of Lennox Hill, a few kilometres from Dundee. The area is reknowned for Zulu culture and its battlefields. History tells us that Lennox Hill is where the Boers hid their horses during the Battle of Tulana Hill -- the first engangement of the Anglo Boer War (20 October 1899). Exquisite hand made furniture, made on the farm, graces the stately guesthouse which offers 10 double bedrooms en suite. The honeymoon chalet is beautifully furnished, very private and a must. Warmth and spontaneity gathers everyone around the dinner and breakfast table where delicious farmstyle meals are served. Relax beside the pool, enjoy a game of snooker or travel around in conversation with other guests or simply feel the soft mist against your skin on an early morning game drive. The visitor's book says it all!

LENNOX COTTAGE GUESTHOUSE IS A MEMBER OF THE NORTHERN KWAZULU-NATAL BATTLEFIELDS ROUTE ASSOCIATION AND AN ACCREDITED MEMBER OF THE DUNDEE PUBLICITY ASSOCIATION. DUNDEE: Dundee nestles in the foothills of the Biggarsberg mountains. The town was named by one of its founders, Peter Smith, who came from a village near Dundee, Scotland. He first mined coal on Talana Hill and floated the Dundee Coal Company on the London Stock Exchange in 1899. So began Dundee's long connection with coal mining in South Africa. Today Dundee is a quiet town at the heart of the Battlefields Route which boasts a wealthy history. Historical buildings are numerous and are worth viewing. Most of the churches in the town date from the turn of the century and contain commemorative plaques from the many battles fought in the area.
