Eenzaamheid Holiday farm is situated in the heart of the access-controlled and legendary Camdeboo Conservancy in the malaria-free Eastern Cape close to Graaff-Reinet. Enjoy a relaxing Karoo getaway on this beautiful holiday guest farm -- a safe, healthy and tranquil destination that will appeal to nature lovers and outdoor adventurers.

Guests can either stay in the beautifully renovated main farmstead (built in 1818!) in a double room or in the adjacent cottage style accommodation. The cottages can accommodate 15 persons in total in 4 en suite units, each private and with own braai area. The newest cottage has an open living area with bathroom, shower, basin, toilet and a family room for 4 persons. Accommodation is self-catering, B&B or fully catered and ideal for family and friend get-togethers.

Eenzaamheid offers a Hiking trail, 4X4 trail, , horse riding, mountain biking, quadbike route, swimming in farm dams and much more! It is a working cattle, sheep and citrus farm that offers city folk an opportunity to experience typical Karoo farm life.

Game Viewing Thus is Kudu world! Various game species on the farm

Bird Watching Excellent birding on the farm and at farm dams.

Hiking Trails There is a scenic 3-day trail. A 6-bed overnight hut, lapa and braai facilities are available for the 2 nights of the trail. The longest leg of the trail is 8km.

Other Activities There is a spectacular 3-hour 4x4 trail that makes the most of the magnificent Camdeboo mountain terrain.Other activities include horse riding, a Quad-bike route,Mountain biking and Swimming in farms dams. There is a touch farm for children: rabbits, horses, cows, sheep and puppies in season

Guests stay in a comfortable farm cottage There is an open-plan lounge, diningroom and bar area with a fireplace in which blazing log fires are lit during winter months. Linen and towels are provided and kitchen facilities, including microwave oven, stove, fridge, cutlery and crockery are provided for self catering guests. The accommodation is fully serviced. English breakfasts, light lunches, Karoo dinners or braais are served on request. Braai packs and firewood are available too and guests enjoy the use of the characterful lapa / braai (barbeque) facility. Self-catering, B&B or fully catred.
