Situated in the Central Drakensberg, 2, 5 km from Champagne Sports Resort and approximately 10km from Champagne Castle Hotel, with a magnificent view of the mountains including Giants Castle, Injasuti, Champagne Castle and Cleft Peak. The house overlooks a gorge with a small waterfall, the valley beneath and the panorama of the Central Drakensberg Mountain Peaks.

The 4 bedroom house is surrounded by a beautiful sunny garden 50 acre property from which to admire the exceptional mountain views. One can take short walks on the property. This is the perfect self catering retreat in which to enjoy the peace, bird life and mountain views. It is reached by tarred road and is approximately 2km away from Champagne Sports Resort. It is perfectly positioned for exploring the various hiking routes of the Central Drakensberg as well as golf courses, and horse riding. It is a place of complete relaxation and tranquillity

There is a lovely entertainment area under a covered veranda, with patio furniture for six. The braai has an un-obscured view on the valley below. From benches dotted around the property the views can be admired. One can take short walks on the property. This would be described as the perfect retreat in which to enjoy peace, bird life and views. It is reached by tarred road.

• At Falcon Ridge visitors can witness these mighty hunters of the sky swoop for the catch. Shows are held daily at 10h30 but are dependent on the weather. Call 082 774 6398 to confirm that a show is to be held.

Rates 2016:

The out of season rates per night:.R290 per adult and per child older than 12. R160 per child between 1 and 12.Children younger than 1 years stay for free (Min of R700/night)

The in season rates per night (school holidays and long weekends): R390 per adult and per child 12 and older. R190 per child between 1 and 11. Children younger than 1 years stay for free. December and Easter min of R1400/night for up to 4 persons

During peak seasons a flat rate of R 1400 per night apply if the number of guests is 4 or less adults, R350 per extra adult.A refundable breakage fee of R550 is payable with your deposit.

The 4 bedroom farm house has two bedrooms with a queen sized bed each as well as a double sleeper couch for children. The main bedroom is en suite and both bathrooms are newly renovated with bath and shower. The third bedroom has two single beds. The fourth bedroom is fitted with bunk beds and is just off the veranda. The kitchen is spacious and fully fitted - stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker etc. For your convenience there is also an automatic washing machine. The open plan dining room has a 6-seater table and the lounge has two large leather couches and a log fireplace. The TV has a satellite dish, please bring your own smart card to have TV
