Marmalade Cottage is a luxury, fully-equipped and serviced 8 berth self-catering cottage and offers comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 8 persons. It is situated in the small hamlet of Geluksburg, 27km north of Bergville and commands views of the Drakensburg mountain range from the Sentinel to Giants Castle. Access to Geluksburg is via one of three gravel roads which are regularly graded. If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city then this is the place to do it.

Bird Watching Birding in the area and Lost Valley

Hiking Trails HIKING, MOUNTAIN BIKING, QUAD AND 4x 4 ROUTES - Explore the breathtaking views and natural splendour of the area whilst hiking or biking. Bring your own quad (quads also available for hire) or use your 4X4 on guided trails - one a 40 km family route to the Lost Valley, the Maanhaarroete, and the other a testing 70 km route via the Bezuidenhoutspas. Shorter routes are also available including picnic trips to a beautiful waterfall. The routes on the longer trails follow servitudes through beautiful valleys, mountains and farmland

The cottage was recently renovated and offers the following amenities: Large dining room with 8 seater table; Games room with bar, pool table, and exercise machine; Fully equipped kitchen with, cooker, microwave, electric kettle, 2 fridges, washing machine and iron, toaster, cooking utensils plus crockery and cutlery for 8 people; Spacious sitting room with TV (Limited boquet DSTV), music center and log-burning fire for the winter evenings; Observation Deck which commands views of the neighbouring farmlands and Drakensburg mountain range. The cottage has covered stoeps to the front and rear which provide ideal space for the family braai - a gas braai is available for your use.

Bergville is 26 km gravel road from Geluksbrug. The gravel road is presently being resurfaced. 29 km from the N3 at Bergville turn-off, also gravel. The Bergville road is, however, the best. Geluksbrug is halfway between Gauteng and Durban if one travel the alternative route via Harrismith, Sterkfontein Dam and Bergville
