Xcelbo Lodge is situated on the farm Middelpunt 21 km from Belfast (10 km from Dullstroom) on the road to Dullstroom in Mpumalanga. The spacious and comfortable semi-modern farm house offers 5 bedrooms with three bathroom/showers, dining room with fireplace, lounge and a typical large and fully equipped farm kitchen (“kuierkombuis”) with double oven, microwave fridge/freezer and coal stove for cold winter months. This is a sheep and cattle (Limousine) farm and the animals are close to the fenced farmyard. Go for a walk in the short shaded hiking trail in a dense forest behind the farmhouse. Keen flyfishermen often drive the 50 km to another of the Botha’s farms between Belfast and Carolina with three dams for trout and bass and a few km Komati River frontage in a beautiful forested gorge. Excelbo has no trout fishing but excursions to dams in the area can be arranged. Pets are allowed.
